 Dirt counting in pulp
SIMPATIC is the result of ten years of experience in sensor manufacturingand deinking. It is the perfect tool for on-line particles detection : simple toinstall, easy to use and perfectly representative of the process..The objective of the sensor SIMPATIC 2 is on-line analysis and theclassifying of pulp. An amount of pulp to be analysed pass through a cellwith glass windows. A camera takes images of the pulp. The lighting is made by a stroboscope, at a speed of 25 images per second.The images are transferred from the computer unit integrated in the sensorto the Supervision via a network cable.The following measurements are supplied :The dirt number (black and white specks)The shives numberThe dirt and shives areaVariation curvesLive visualization of the pulp imageVisualization of saved imagesBrightness indication trend curvesThese information allows you to control the quality of your pulp, to optimize your process, to optimizethe ratio deinked pulp / virgin pulp and take rapid decision in case of contaminating particles. |

 Colour sensors for advanced manufacturing
Color sensors are used on assembly lines to detect components, verify steps in the manufacturing process, and match different components by color. For example, in automotive assembly, color sensors are used to match bumpers and mirrors to the body paint color, and to match carpet colors with plastic and textile trims. Other application examples include detecting color marks on parts and product packaging, monitoring the color of adhesive tape as it is manufactured, and confirming that the correct color rubber seals are applied.The modern color sensor projects a high-intensity white light on a target. The sensor analyzes the reflected light for its constituent RGB (red, green, blue) values. If the readings of any of those three colors fall outside preprogrammed parameters, the sensor issues a discrete signal that indicates a color match failure. |
